Bon Fire Night
Our Bon Fire night will be every Wednesday Evening (weather permitting)
Come on out and enjoy a friendly get together around the bon fire.
Roast marshmello's, make smores and cook some hot dogs.
Makes for a great evening under the stars.
Come on out. All are welcome!
Horseshoe Tournament
Our Horseshoe Tournament will be held every Wednesday starting at 1pm
There will be: single play, doubles and mixed doubles.
Sign ups at the office.
Paddle Boat Races
This is a team event for kids of all ages. Teams of 2 and 4 persons.
Races will be held Thursdays starting at 1pm.

" The Holiday Race "
Have you ever seen the television show "The Amazing Race"? Well when you stay at West Nipissing Resort you will have the opportunity to participate in our version of it "The Holiday Race".
Yes you and your family and or friends can compete together, as a team, to do some great northern events. To have fun and race against other guests of the resort. Win prizes and a chance to win a free weeks stay at West Nipissing Resort.
The race will have you doing many team and individual events including: canoe races, paddle boat races, row boat races, island hunt, fish derby, french fry eating, chicken wing eating, fish cleaning, cow milking, horse farming, nature walks, pontoon boat cruises, treasure hunting, vegetable/fruit picking, golf ball drive, tree planting and swimming races just to mention a few!
This race will last for 1- 2 days. Will be held here at the resort and area during your stay. Not only will this event keep the whole family entertained but will act bring you closer together. The family closeness and fun this event will provide will keep you talking about your stay here at the resort for many years. Come on out and put your family to the test. Winning team receives a great discount on their stay here and also a chance to win a one weeks stay at the resort free!
Rules
- The number of team members on each team is 2 - 7( depending on your vehicle passenger limit)
- All events must be completed in order
- All traffic laws must be followed (no speeding)
- Liability waiver must be signed by all team members
- Rules of race must be followed (rules will be issued to all teams 1 day prior to race start day)
- Must have 4 teams particpating on any given race week for race to take place
Entry Fee
$100 per team of 2 ( $10 extra for each person over two persons)
Prizes Each Week
- T Shirts for all participants
- Winners " T Shirts"
- Winning team will receive 10% refund on ANY and ALL costs (tax excluded) while staying at the resort.
examples of refund elgibility: cottage/chalet, boat rental, gas, oil, docking, pontoon cruise, northern race etc...
Seasonal Grand Prize
1 weeks free stay in a 3 bedroom cottage for anytime in the 2008 - 2009 seasons. Taxes not included.
Each weeks team winner will be entered in a draw at the end of the season, after labour day weekend. The team drawn will
receive our grand prize.
